Charlotte Buck graduated from the University of Bristol in 2003 with a BA degree in English before successfully completing her GDL at the College of Law in Bloomsbury, London and her LPC at BPP Law School in Holborn, London.
Charlotte completed her training contract with a small city law firm qualifying as an Employment Solicitor in 2009. She then went on to join a boutique firm in the West End where she spent 12 years specialising in Employment and Commercial and Civil Litigation matters. During her time in the West End, Charlotte acted for both corporate clients, ranging from start-ups to large national and international businesses and individuals, including high networth/profile individuals and senior executives.
Charlotte joined Pinney Talfourd in 2024 as a Senior Associate in the Employment Team. She advises on all arears of employment law, acting for both employers and employees in a wide range of non-contentious and contentious matters. She has particular expertise advising on contracts of employment, employee grievance and disciplinary procedures, constructive and unfair dismissal, discrimination and redundancy. She also has extensive experience negotiating exit packages for employees and advising on Settlement Agreements.
Charlotte fully understands how stressful dealing with employment matters can be, both for the employer and employee and places particular focus on maintaining amicability between the parties and reaching resolution without recourse to litigation wherever possible.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE
Outside of work, Charlotte’s enjoys spending time with her family including her two young children. She also enjoys going to the gym and most sports including playing netball, horse-riding and skiing. Charlotte has dual nationality (English/German) and speaks fluent German.
