Yanoulla is an Associate and a member of our Family Law Department. Yanoulla qualified as a solicitor in 2011.

Yanoulla's expertise includes:

Yanoulla's recent work highlights include:

  • Representing father in the reported case of Re L and B (Children: Specific Issues: Temporary Leave to Remove from the Jurisdiction: Circumcision) [2016] EWHC 849 (Fam) in his applications for temporary leave to remove his children from the country, and seeking the court's permission for the circumcision of his sons.

  • Successfully representing mother who opposed father’s application for leave to permanently remove their children to Norway. Achieved a court order setting out that the children were to remain living in England despite social services recommending that the children move to Norway and also secured a shared care arrangement of the children for the mother.

  • Successfully representing a grandmother in her application to be a special guardian of her four young grandchildren. Secured a detailed support package for the children including suitable accommodation near the children’s schools and the grandmother’s family network and adequate protection from the father of the children, who was violent and had substance misuse problems.

  • Obtaining a complicated support package for prospective adopters whose identity and address had been obtained by the birth family and was being shared on social media and which involved online abuse and threats against the adopters. The support package involved securing funding from the local authority in order to pursue injunction proceedings in the High Court to get these details removed from social media.
