Shortlisted for Law Society Award; ‘Excellence in Private Client Practice’

We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for a prestigious Law Society Excellence Award, the highest accolade for law firms in England and Wales. Our Private Client Team has been shortlisted in the ‘Excellence in Private Client Practice’ category for their work in Wills, Tax, Trusts, Probate and Elderly Client Services.

About the Legal Excellence Awards

The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors in England and Wales. Their role is to drive excellence in the profession and to safeguard the rule of law. They launched the Legal Excellence Awards in 2006 to celebrate the work of solicitors and are the most coveted award in the legal profession. They are an opportunity to showcase the best of the profession and recognise hard work and achievements across the whole of  England and Wales.

Why we think our Private Client Team is excellent

Partner and Head of Client Services, Catherine Polli, was delighted to hear the good news and said:
“We believe that our Private Client Team is exceptional; clients tell us that regularly and for the Law Society to acknowledge this is fantastic. “The team provides a number of additional services including information seminars and training for professionals and their focus on education for all has been recognised today.”

The team has been shortlisted based on its efforts within the community and for their work with other information providers. They work hard to build the trust and confidence of every client before, during and after their matter. The whole firm believes a client is ‘for life’ and our client service and aftercare builds life-long relationships.

Why The Law Society think we are excellent

Law Society president Simon Davis said of Pinney Talfourd’s achievement:

“There are more than 140,000 solicitors in England and Wales – to be shortlisted for an Excellence Award is to be recognised as among the very best of the profession.
“The firms and solicitors shortlisted should be commended for going above and beyond to support their clients, often navigating tricky and sometimes contentious areas of the law.
“With the justice system so under strain, we should take this opportunity to celebrate the incredible work solicitors do day-in and day-out – and to recognise the immense contribution they make to our society.”
