Legal 500 has released the results of their 2022 rankings and, once again, Pinney Talfourd has been ranked across the firm’s practice areas. Our ‘highly efficient’ Family Team are ranked Tier One, with our Commercial, Employment, Private Client, Property and Litigation Teams riding high in this year’s rankings.

Private Client Law

The Family Law Team are delighted to maintain their Tier One status, confirming their position as one of the best family law teams in Essex. The Legal 500 research team collated references from clients and counsel who called them a “first-class family practice” who are a “core part of the wide range of legal services delivered to private clients“. The 2022 rankings recognise Catherine Polli, Michael Sheville and Catherine Loadman as Leading Individuals. Claire Spurgeon, Louise Eady, Sue Nash and Kiren Dhillon are all Recommended Individuals.

The Trusts, Tax and Probate Team are described as ‘professional, friendly and reliable‘ and always providing ‘excellent customer service‘. Matthew Edwards is ranked as a Leading Individual. Kristian Croad is ranked as a Rising Star and Kayleigh O’Donnell and Christopher Dickinson as Recommended Individuals.

The Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence rankings recognise Stephen Green and Kim Huggins who are described as ‘very precise lawyers‘ who are ‘responsive and helpful.’

Commercial Law

Our Commercial Teams have also been recognised in the 2022 rankings. Alex Pearce is ranked as a Rising Star in the Employment Team which is described as always going ‘that extra mile to ensure client satisfaction‘. The ‘quality of representation‘ from the Commercial Litigation team is described as ‘first-rate‘, and ‘the speed of response is unrivalled‘. The property Litigation Team is described as ‘very helpful, professional, high quality solicitors‘. Ed Garston is highlighted in the Company Commercial ranking as being a ‘respectful and friendly approachable person‘. Nick Hatchett is a Leading Individual in Commercial Litigation: Essex and is described as having ‘a refreshing mixture of intelligence combined with common-sense.’
