Pinney pair partner up for Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser

30/01/2020

Litigation Partner, Stephen Eccles and Residential Property Team Assistant, Lorraine Clarkson have teamed up to compete at the annual St Luke’s Hospice Strictly Come Dancing fundraising event on 14 March 2020.Stephen and Lorraine are one of 10 couples taking part in the competition which closely mirrors the hit BBC programme, Stricly Come Dancing.
Each pairing is made up of a ‘professional’ dancer, ours being Lorraine, and a person without dance experience.
Lorraine had a partner allocated to her but sadly they were unable to take part. Stephen has gracefully come to her rescue and taken on this impressive challenge. He has no prior dance experience and is learning two complicated routines in a limited time frame.
Stephen and Lorraine are currently preparing their show dances, a Waltz and a Cha Cha and are busy rehearsing every Sunday under the guidance of a professional instructor. There have also been some early morning practices taking place in our Hornchurch office!
The final will be taking place at The Civic Hall in Grays, on Saturday 14th March this year in front of a packed crowd of over 400 people.
You can help Stephen and Lorraine reach their fundraising target and help to beat last year’s overall total of £35,000.
Best of luck the our Pinney Pair – keeeeeep dancing!
