Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Update

01/06/2020

Our offices are open, by appointment only.

During this time, we continue to update our business continuity response, in light of COVID-19 and the Government’s recommendations. We have in place safeguards to ensure that we continue to provide a seamless service to our clients, whilst protecting the health and safety of our clients and our colleagues.

We would like to reassure our clients that we continue to deliver our usual first class service.

Whilst the provision of our services can be provided seamlessly (including face to face meetings) by electronic means, there are certain circumstances that require a physical meeting. This may be the case for meetings with exising clients and new clients. For the safety and well-being of our clients and our colleagues, we have in place robust safety measures to ensure that we can conduct physical meetings, where necessary, and protect the health and safety of our clients and our colleagues during these times. Where physical meetings are unavoidable, we will set out the guidance and requirements to our clients on or before arrival. When in the office, we are able to ensure distancing of two metres at all times, we have supplies of hand gel, gloves and masks for optional use whilst in the office and perspex screens in our receptions and meeting rooms.

The majority of our staff are continuing to work away from the office and we have a rota and strict rules in place as to the number of staff in our offices at any given time to limit our physical staff interaction. As you would expect, we have rigorous cleaning and internal hygiene procedures in place. Strict protocols are in place across all our offices.

During these times, we must limit physical interaction as far as possible and our systems include other measures such as the provision of single use pens, avoiding shaking hands and offering tea or coffee etc.

How to get in touch

All our teams are working remotely, with a core team based in each of our offices. They are contactable on their usual telephone numbers and email addresses. Where possible, we ask that documents are scanned and emailed to us rather than posted. If you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your lawyer or our switchboard. We are here to help.

Where you know the person you wish to speak to, please visit the people page of our website where you will find contact details for individuals. Our lawyers have full access to their office telephone numbers which are accessed remotely along with emails.

If you are not sure who you need to speak to but need some legal assistance, please contact our main numbers as usual and your call will be transferred to the relevant person.

You can also use our email addresses and website contact forms to get in touch. These are distributed to the relevant person who will contact you promptly.
