Our ever growing Legal 500 recognised Company and Commercial department would be keen to hear from a talented and ambitious company and commercial solicitor.
You will have gained at least 3 years’ experience with both company and commercial matters and we expect you to have a thorough understanding of corporate transactions and commercial contracts.
You will be used to running your own files with minimal supervision, able to co-ordinate files spanning different practice areas, and aware of the requirements of predominantly owner managed businesses based in and around the local area. You may have developed a sector specialism but this is not as important as a can-do attitude that puts the client’s interests first, and a mindset focused on finding solutions rather than presenting obstacles.
Your professional work will already have attracted a loyal following of clients and referrers, and you will be keen to support the wider business development activities of the firm and the department to build and reinforce your professional network.
The right candidate can expect full support and encouragement from a small team of dedicated company and commercial practitioners. This is a unique opportunity to build and develop your existing talents within a highly regarded and results driven environment.
We are looking for a full time Team Assistant (legal secretary) to join our expanding Tier 1 Legal 500 UK Family Law Department.
The right candidate will ideally have some previous experience in a similar role. The role will be based at our Upminster office but with some fluidity to assist the family lawyers in our Hornchurch and Brentwood offices as required.
We are looking for a full time Administration Assistant to join our busy firm.
This is a wide and varied role which will include general office tasks, ordering of supplies and assistance with events as well as some reception work.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. You will work across our three main offices (Brentwood, Hornchurch and Upminster) so you must be willing and able to travel regularly.
The right candidate will have a least 2 years experience in a similar environment and be a proactive, team player.
We are always interested to hear from lawyers and support staff who think that this Firm may be the right place for them. Whilst we may not be actively seeking people for a certain role, we are an expanding practice and opportunities may present themselves at different times so we are always happy to receive speculative applications. We are particularly interested in people who may work or live locally or lawyers who have a following of clients and contacts. All enquiries will be treated with complete discretion and confidentiality
For more information on any of these roles or to make an application in the strictest of confidence, please contact our Managing Partner, Philip Cockram on 01708 229444 or upload your CV to us using the form to your right.
