Stephen Eccles ran the Brentwood Half Marathon to help raise money for local charity.

The Brentwood Half Marathon took place last weekend, and Pinney Talfourd’s very brave Partner Stephen Eccles was up for the challenge.

The day started brightly and Stephen met with a group of friends and colleagues at Brentwood Cricket Ground, where we are sponsors, for a spot of warming up which included chasing a labrador and star jumps with a 5 year old.

They then strolled down to the starting line, stopping to watch the brass band which included two very talented daughters of Kim Saunders, a team assistant with the Firm.

The atmosphere was fantastic and all runners were getting fired up by 10 o’clock at which point he was waved off with a cheer.

Stephen promised to arrive at the finish line in around 2 hours and he kept his word, crossing the line in just 1 hour 56 minutes.
