Stephen is a Partner specialising in personal injury. He is the Head of the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department. Stephen qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 1995 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2000. He became a Partner in 2006.

Stephen's recent work highlights include:

  • Acting for a client exposed to asbestos whilst working as a Lighterman and Waterman in the 1960’s, mainly on the River Thames.

  • Acting for an amateur competitive cyclist, knocked over by a van at a roundabout, who sustained life-changing injuries. Damages were successfully recovered to include medical treatment costs to aid his recovery and rehabilitation.

  • Acting for a motorcyclist who sustained extensive injuries, following a fall on ice created by a water drainage leak onto the highway, during adverse weather conditions. Damages were recovered against the highway authority.

  • Acting for a client exposed to asbestos whilst working on steam engines during the 1950’s. Liability has been established and damages are in the process of being negotiated.

  • Acting for a client who sustained workplace injuries as a result of a fall from height. Damages were recovered despite liability being in dispute and unfounded allegations of fundamental dishonesty.
