Charity Casino Night - £1,070 Raised For MNDA!

Charity Casino Night - £1,070 Raised For MNDA!
Pinney Talfourd was joined by a remarkable cast of contacts for a charity casino night in support of MNDA (South Essex branch). We look back on what was a prosperous evening.

Last night saw an epic evening of Blackjack, Roulette and Wheel of Fortune to help raise money for our Charity of the Year, Motor Neurone Disease Association (South Essex branch).

Our doors opened at 6:30pm, and many of our business contacts and private clients joined us to help raise funds for the South Essex branch of MDNA. Copious amounts of Pinney Play Money was purchased, which in turn could be exchanged for chips to play on the various tables available. In conjunction to this, each of the casino games were sponsored by some fantastic local businesses, including Beresfords, West and Coe, Watson Moore and Price Bailey.

Canapés and drinks were in abundance whilst our colleagues networked and attempted to win big on each of the games up for offer. For those taking a breather, Barry the Magic Enigma astounded with his award-winning tricks - it truly did have to be seen to be believed!

A fantastic total of £1,070 was raised for MNDA - an absolutely incredible amount and certainly a fruitful evening for all!

Leigh-On-Sea Launch Party at Francesca Maffeo Gallery

Launch-1-SMALL
Last night saw the launch party for our new office facilities at 282 Leigh Road in Leigh-On-Sea, Essex. We look back on what was a fantastic evening had by all.

The celebration was held next door at Francesca Maffeo Gallery, which is currently presenting an exhibition by David Chancellor, ‘Handle Like Eggs’.

The display looks at a variety of themes, namely love and loss, and life and death, and has various different images including a mountain lion hunting in Utah and photographs of David’s wife and son in a hotel room in Zurich.

The event itself saw an excellent turnout, with clients and contacts alike joining us to celebrate the fact that our legal services are now even more accessible to the Essex community. Sushi and prosecco were in abundance whilst our colleagues networked alongside the fantastic artwork offered up by the gallery.

Working out of Space 282, our new office facilities are in an excellent location, close to an array of restaurants and coffee shops and with Leigh Old Town just a short walk away. On street parking is available free of charge up to two hours, whilst Chalkwell and Leigh train stations are just a ten-minute walk away.

Why we chose Leigh-On-Sea

Speaking to our Managing Partner Philip Cockram about why we decided to expand into Leigh-On-Sea, he notes “we place great emphasis on client feedback, and the accessibility of our services has always a key factor for clients when choosing us. We already offer extended opening hours, late nights and Saturday mornings, so the next step was of course to extend our location”.
