Chloe introduces a wealth of former experience gained from setting up corporate tax and trust structures in London. She will be primarily overseeing business and commercial contracts and assisting with the larger corporate transactions which the department handles on a regular basis. In fact, many of our existing clients will already know Chloe from her previous role within our leading property department.
Ben Hersom joins us to specialise in all aspect of Commercial Property, including lease assignments and negotiations, commercial landlord and tenant issues, and freehold acquisitions. Ben joins us from Harlow-based firm Whiskers. He qualified as a solicitor in 2016.

Kim Huggins (Clinical Negligence solicitor) and Alex Pearce (Employment solicitor) have both been promoted to Senior Associate at Pinney Talfourd on 1st December 2017.
Kim and Alex were both recently recognised by Legal 500 UK 2017 as a “Next Generation Lawyer”. Alex was described by the Legal 500 as “efficient, knowledgeable and communicative.” Kim was defined as a “first-class lawyer”. Both have been recognised for their dedication and outstanding results in their work to date.

The awards, created in 2016 by Modern Law Magazine to celebrate talent, success and innovation in the area of conveyancing will be held on Thursday 13th July at The Rum Warehouse in Liverpool.

The winners will be chosen by a well-regarded panel of judges who have been selected based on their expertise and knowledge of the industry, including Eddie Goldsmith, Chairman of The Conveyancing Association and Alasdair Lewis, Director of Legal Services at the Land Registry.
The awards will look to recognise law firms that are taking the lead in innovation to bring unique solutions to their clients on a daily basis, and to those who are championing client care.

We are delighted to announce three internal promotions at Pinney Talfourd, which will take effect on 1 June 2017.
Lexie Jacobs, a member of our Residential Property Team and Kayleigh O’Donnell, a member of our Elderly Client Services team have been made up to Associate, while Jill French, also a member of our Elderly Client Services department has been promoted to Senior Associate. All have been recognised for their dedication and outstanding results in their work to date.

Paul Berry of our Residential Property Team and Sebastian Burrows of our Family Team have been recognised for their dedication and outstanding results by becoming Partners in this year’s promotion announcements.
Achieving Partner status is no mean feat. A set of rigorous objectives and KPIs need to be achieved including building close relationships with clients and business contacts, leading on internal and developmental projects, outstanding performance in specific areas and the development of new initiatives to drive the firm forward.
