Join Pinney Talfourd for a fun-filled day of storytelling in support of our Charity of the Year for 2017, SNAP (Special Needs and Parents).
We have decided to open our doors at our Upminster office for a fun-filled day of storytelling, dedicated to raising funds for SNAP (Special Needs and Parents). SNAP was formed in 1994 and helps Essex families with special needs and disabilities. The young people have a wide range of disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, sensory impairments, speech and language difficulties and learning disabilities.
Perfect for parents who are struggling to fill up the school holidays, we will be offering up a fantastic selection of age-appropriate animated stories throughout the course of the day; enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while your children sit down and are entertained by one of our team.
Each session lasts 30 minutes and is geared towards a specific age group – see below for timings throughout the day.
We will also be live-streaming the entire event on our Facebook page, with a dedicated area for children whose parents would prefer them not to be filmed during their chosen reading session.
In addition to our reading sessions, we will also be offering up a colouring corner for children to decorate and adorn their own fun character masks to take home, and we are pleased to announce that we will also be running THREE prize raffle draws throughout the day, with fantastic prizes from Costa, Creams Ice Cream Parlour and the Chicken and Frog Bookshop in Brentwood.
