We are pleased to announce the promotion of Cansu Hussein to the position of Head of Court of Protection, with effect from 1st June 2026.
Cansu has extensive expertise in Court of Protection work, has been a key member of the team since joining the firm in 2021, having previously been a solicitor for a number of years with a Tier 2 Legal 500 specialist Court of Protection firm.
Since joining Pinney Talfourd, Cansu has played a hugely important role assisting clients and family members to manage the property and affairs of individuals who have lost mental capacity. Her notable achievements include managing complex deputy appointments involving multi-million-pound assets, supporting a child with cerebral palsy through a multi-million-pound settlement and conducting investigations that led to the exposure of significant financial abuse in vulnerable clients’ cases.
Her promotion follows her recent advancement to Senior Associate in 2025 and reflects her commitment to technical expertise, client service and the integral role she plays in development of our Court of Protection practice.
