John studied History and Politics before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at Leeds Beckett University, followed by the Legal Practice Course at the University of Westminster in 2010.
John initially trained as a criminal solicitor at a busy North London practice and later worked as a freelance criminal solicitor, before converting to property law in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, he gained experience in private practice for four years, in-house for a charity for four years, and within a local authority for 18 months.
John has acted for companies, sole traders, individuals, charities, financial institutions, developers and local authorities across a wide range of property matters.
On a personal note
John is a keen runner and has completed all six of the Abbott World Marathon Majors in under three hours.

Noteable achievements
- John has acted on the sale of a Central London commercial property for £46m which, in addition to the usual requirements of a sale, involved addressing a restrictive covenant that significantly limited the use of the property, as well as numerous contracts affecting it.
- John has advised on a lease, agreement for lease and licences for a large recycling site in West London, and has acted for the owner of a large development requiring multiple agreements with service providers.
