Pinney Talfourd LLP attends Tudor Barn Wedding Fair
Catherine Loadman and Stephen Eccles represented Pinney Talfourd LLP at a Wedding Fayre at the Tudor Barn, Eltham in March.
This might seem a strange event for solicitors to attend, especially as Pinney Talfourd LLP is well known for being a leading family law firm specialising in divorce. We were invited by the owner Theo Luck who watched Stephen conduct a presentation on Pre-Nuptial agreements at the business networking group, BNI Greenwich. This made him realise how essential it was that couples consider the legal consequences of marriage and the complications of sharing assets in this day and age.
The Wedding Fayre was a great success and generated much interest as well as some surprise from visitors. However more and more couples are seeking to enter into these formal agreements for their own peace of mind and to act as an insurance policy in any event. Pre-Nuptial agreements are becoming a regular addition to wedding checklist.
The Tudor Barn is an excellent wedding venue and formed part of a country mansion built for the daughter of Thomas More, Lord Chancellor to Henry VIII. Surrounded by a medieval moat and nearby scented gardens, the venue is situated in 13 acres of award winning gardens.
