Free seminar to help local women in business
Are you a woman running your own business or think of starting your own business?
Government figures show that women have been hit hard by the recession. Evidence suggests that an increasing number are taking matters into their own hands and starting up their own businesses.
Now three local experts are coming together to help entrepreneurial women in the borough learn all they need to know about how to go it alone in business.
Janet Rafferty, a public relations specialist and executive member of Havering Chamber of Commerce, said: "We're hearing about increasing numbers of women launching their own businesses in Havering. We want to ensure that they have all the tools possible to be successful.
"That's why we have organised a free seminar bringing together accountancy, legal and PR expertise in a one stop shop specifically designed for women."
The seminar will take place on Thursday October 6 from 6.00 - 8.30pm at our Upminster office.
