Pinney Talfourd LLP hosts employment law seminar
On 23rd November 2010, we hosted an Employment Seminar with Paul Staddon of Tanfield Chambers.
The seminar was extremely informative with the subject matter being how firms can protect their businesses from their employees. This is an area which continues to trouble employers in all industries and this seminar highlighted examples of both protection and prevention.
Paul Staddon detailed the risks that an employer can face if they do not have the necessary protection in place and the steps to be taken if things do go wrong.
The seminar was well attended by other local solicitors and demonstrated the real value of presenting seminars on areas of interest and current relevance.
In addition, the seminar was a great opportunity to meet with other professionals as well as share and discuss this topic of interest.
Given the positive feedback from this seminar, we hope to arrange another one in the New Year.
