Employment Seminar on Equality Act 2010
On 24th May 2011, Pinney Talfourd LLP hosted an Employment Update Seminar together with HR GO Recruitment. It was a well attended event, providing the opportunity to meet and network with local businesses.
The Seminar was an update of recent developments in Employment Law, reviewing important changes and developments including The Equality Act 2010.
The aim of the Seminar was to inform on the potential problems Employers can face based on the recent developments and there was also an opportunity to raise questions and discuss any additional queries.
Any commercial organisation will need to assess the risks to its particular business with regards to its Employees. The Agency Workers Regulations were analysed in detail and the impact upon using Agency staff when the Regulations come into force in October 2011.
