Pinney Talfourd raises over £5,000 for Will Aid 2010

Following our recent participation in Will Aid 2010 we are delighted to announce that we have raised the sum of £5,345 for Will Aid. The scheme involved offering our time for free throughout November allowing clients to make a Will in return for a contribution to Will Aid.

The money raised contributes towards the grand total of £1,547,319, the largest total they have ever raised. Shirley Marsland, Campaign Manager at Will Aid commented that "this is a fantastic sum which simply wouldn't have been possible without the expertise, hard work and generosity of solicitors like you...you were one of our top 50 fundraisers."

This money will be applied for the benefit of Will Aid's nine chosen charities, NSPCC, Action Aid, Save the Children, Age UK, SCIAF, British Red Cross, Sightsavers, Christian Aid and TROCAIRE.

Head of the Private Client department, Matthew Edwards said: "It is estimated that 60% of adults have not made a Will so the charitable initiative gave the push many people needed to make a Will and in the process make a worthwhile charitable contribution. We would like to thank all of our clients who took part".
